This course is designed for students who already completed their 30hr Driver’s Education program.

This course consists of seven (7) 50-minute driving sessions and seven (7) 50-minute observation sessions, including a final road test.

Once the student successfully demonstrates proficiency in each area, they will receive a temporary provisional license from CDIC and a hard copy of their Driver’s License will be provided through the DMV.

There is no exception to receiving a Learner’s Permit in VA – regardless of age. You may read more about this on DMV’s website.

The Course for Teens

This course consists of seven (7) 50-minute driving sessions and seven (7) 50-minute observation sessions, including a final road test.

Once the student successfully demonstrates proficiency in each area, they will receive a temporary provisional license from CDIC and a hard copy of their Driver’s License will be provided through the DMV.
The soon-to-be driver will have to have obtained their VA Learner’s Permit prior to beginning this course.
There is no exception to receiving a Learner’s Permit in VA – regardless of age. You may read more about this on DMV’s website.

NOTES:

CDIC also offers private hourly lessons at package pricing for lessons if individual driver training is needed. These instances could include a student not having had at least 45 hours of parent-assisted driving as required by DMV, etc.
CDIC only offers a limited amount of slots monthly. If the capacity has been reached for that month, the student will automatically be added to a waiting list and notified as soon as sessions become available.
Instructors reserve the right to reschedule or cancel sessions based on safety concerns.
CDIC will meet the student at their home for each driving lesson, unless communicated otherwise, within a 10-mile radius.
A team member will reach out to student and/or parent at least one week in advance of the behind-the-wheel session ***

 

The Course for Adults

This course consists of seven (7) 50-minute driving sessions and seven (7) 50-minute observation sessions, including a final road test.

Once the student successfully demonstrates proficiency in each area, they will receive a temporary provisional license from CDIC and a hard copy of their Driver’s License will be provided through the DMV.
The soon-to-be driver will have to have obtained their VA Learner’s Permit prior to beginning this course

CDIC also requires that drivers have at least 12 hours of driving experience before beginning on-the-road lessons with us.

Requirements: CDIC requires adults have at least 12 hours of on the road driving and a learner’s permit before beginning behind the wheel. *Be advised – There is no substitution for obtaining a learner’s permit, regardless of the driver’s age.
